This is to advise of a forthcoming incursion for students in Year 4,5 and 6 who will be participating in a Japanese drumming (taiko) workshop. The purpose of the incursion is to give students the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese drumming in the context of being a taiko group member. Students will be able to understand and use simple Japanese language as well as use their musical and physical education skills in this vibrant cultural experience. The incursion will be held on Wednesday August 28, 2019 in the school undercover area during one of three sessions held between 8.30 and 11.50am. The cost of the incursion will be $6.00 each.
